Privacy Policy

This policy describes what Capital Reef Creations ("we," "us") collects when you use this site, and what we do with it. Short version: we collect what's needed to sell you coral and ship it safely, we don't sell your information to anyone, and your card number never touches our servers.

1. What we collect

• Order details — your name, email, phone (optional), shipping address, and the items you buy or reserve.
• Messages — anything you send through the inquiry form, including tank photos you choose to attach.
• Technical basics — standard web logs (IP address, pages requested) used for security and keeping the site running.

2. How we use it

To fulfill and ship your orders, send order confirmations and tracking emails, respond to your messages, honor the Live Arrival Guarantee, and prevent fraud or abuse. That's it — no advertising lists, no data sales, no sharing beyond the service providers below.

3. Who handles your data for us

• Stripe processes card payments on its own secure pages — your card number goes to Stripe, never to us. See Stripe's privacy policy for how they handle it.
• Postmark delivers our transactional email (order confirmations, tracking, sign-in links).
• Cloudflare sits in front of the site for security and performance, and sees traffic the way any content-delivery network does.
• UPS (and our shipping-label provider) receive your name and address to deliver your box.

4. Cookies & local storage

Your shopping cart lives in your own browser's local storage — it never leaves your device until you check out. We don't run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a security cookie, and staff sign-in uses a session cookie on the admin area only.

5. Keeping & deleting

We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, warranty (DOA) claims, and tax purposes. If you'd like the information we hold about you corrected or deleted, email [email protected] and we'll take care of what the law allows us to remove.

6. Children

This store isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.
